A Villery Thanksgiving!

Long time, no post!   Since, Thanksgiving is in a few days, I truly think it’s time for some lighter posts in time for the official kick off to the holiday season don’t you think?

I am a sucker for the Holidays!   I don’t know if it’s a mix of the food, family and all of the rich colors.  But this time of year, it always brings out good vibes for me.

It doesn’t hurt that my birthday falls in December either!  Just saying! )

On that note, I love taking out  my Irish stemware this time of year!  It’s elegant,  sturdy and it’s simply gorgeous.

I got the stemware in my hand as part of a huge set I bought from Waterford a few years back and it’s held up so well!

My style is pretty unique when it comes to home decor and clothes.  I tend to mix classic more expensive pieces that will hold over time, like those gobblers, my late grandmother’s punch bowl  and other crystal  with more modern pieces like new silverware and  these  damn cool cobalt blue glass plates that were in my buffet cabinet!

(How cool are those plates?)

Aren’t these pretty?

I have a cranberry  and beige theme going on in my living and dining room.  So, I bought some linens to match. Unfortunately, I don’t remember where  I got them.  I think in all honestly it was at Target about 3 or 4 years ago. But I change things all over again at Christmas too.  (Yes, I”m THAT person. LOL) .

And this is the nearly the finished product!

All washed and ready.  (Except for the glasses!   Which I did when I finally finished this post! )
